WiT Smart e-Reading Lamp

More and more we are using screens for reading, and although this brings convenience and entertainment, the needs for the right lighting of screen reading have never really been met. BenQ’s WiT Smart Desk Lamp is the world’s first lamp developed specifically for e-reading, an llumination solution that cares about every aspect of your e-Reading experience. The innovative Smile Curve Technology offers a 90cm light range, 150% wider over traditional lamps to create an expansive illuminated area, while also achieving the illuminance of 1800 lux. The ambient light sensor detects the light of the environment and WiT delivers the patented "brighter at the sides, darker in the middle” illumination to reduce the contrast glare and the reflection on your screens. It can also easily be switched from warm, light tones for reading, to the cooler tones of concentration and work. Simply turn the rotary knob, and you can easily fine-tune the color temperatures and the brightness to suit your reading needs. Go with a cooler temperature for your problem-solving tasks, go with the warmer tones for relaxing. Say goodbye to eye-strain and glare. watch the video below

SPRUCE STOVE

The Spruce Stove was created by Dutch designers Roel de Boer and Michiel Martens. The unique stove is a new approach to burning wood, it burns one long log, a bit at a time. Simply rest the tree trunk on the wheeled stand and gently push it into the cylindrical stove, the experience lasts as long as the trunk. A camera-aperture-like opening is closed around it. This would definitely look cool in a big open space industrial apartment. via...
